Hand washing experiment

Reflection:
I am learning to understand the importance of handwashing and to describe that that germs may be present even if there not seen. I was able to say what happens when I wash my hands I found this fun because it showed us how easily germs spread.

          I found this challenging because I had to go to Kiwi kids news a few times to see the article
                                        My next step is to read with more understanding.

Number lines

I was learning to use number lines to work out 2 digit subtraction. I was able to subtract many different questions this was challenging because I was not listening. my next step is to listen better.

Big machines for fun and sport

Reflection:
I am learning to find the main points of the text I was able to identify the main keywords in the text
I found this challenging because I didn't understand some of the words\sentences my next step is to listen to Miss Hannaby when she is reading the story.

Year 3 and 4 ICT enrichment

My Day At School

In the morning I get ready and go to school. At school we do the roll and Morning Hui. We start on our learning and after that we have a break/morning tea. Then it is the middle block and at 12 o'clock we go on the field for a brain break and a little more learning. After lunch is last block and then home time.

Reflection:
I was learning to use different sentence starters to make my writing more interesting I was able to use the sentence starter "then" once. I found this challenging because I did not know any different sentence starters. My next step is not to use "then" at all to start my sentences.
