I was learning to add detail to my ideas. I can write more than one idea about a topic. It was because I know lots about ice cream because I always read the packets.

Persuasive Writing

I was learning to write a persuasive piece of writing. I can give reasons why I agree or disagree with a topic. It was tricky because it was new to me.

EPS Values

I was learning to describe what each EPS value means. I can describe what respect, resilience and responsibility means. It was easy because everybody at our school should know them.

Art Exhibition

I liked painting the backgrounds because they stood out and were different colors.

I think that the black crayon was hard.

I am  proud of my self.

Poem Recitation

I was leaning to present a poem in front of an audience. I can project my voice so that every one can hear me. I can remember my poem of by heart. I can speak in a clear voice so every one can hear me.

I felt happy while saying my poem because I had been practicing for a long time.

Volcanoes

I was learning to compare and contrast different volcanoes.

I can talk about the shape of volcanoes. I can describe what it looks like. I can talk about the lava flow of the eruption. 

It was tricky because one of the volcanoes did not look like a volcano.

Narrative Writing

I was learning to wright a narrative piece of writing

I can talk about the setting, the characters and the plot.

It was easy because there was a picture that gave us ideas to write about.

Telling The Time

I was learning to read o clock times and half past times on an analog clock.

I can read o clock on an analog clock. I can read half past times on an analog clock.

It was easy because Miss Armiger taught us well.

Maths Week

Division

I was learning to understand  division by equal sharing. I can share objects equally into groups. It was  easy because there was circles to help you.

Writing Instructions

I was learning to wright instructions. I can use a variety of verbs in my instructions. I can put my instructions in the right order. 

It was easy because we had lots worksheets,they help us.

Schools Then And Now

I was learning to compare and contrast what schools were like in the past what they are like now.Now I know that school was strict. It  was easy because  our trip to the Howick Historical Village helped us know what schools were like in the past.

Te Reo Maori Feelings

I was learning to identify Maori words for our feelings.Now I can describe how I am feeling in Te reo Maori. It was easy because in handwrighting we practise Te Reo Maori. It was tricky because there were some tricks.       

ANZAC Day

Swimming

I love swimming because there is cool equipment that can help you. My favourite activity we do at swimming time free time because you can do anything in the water!
