I can identify thirds and eighths of shapes and objects I can show that a fraction is part of a whole by using materials or images
The Rectangles group had a race to see who could match up all the fractions with the correct shape pictures first. Congratulations Alisa, Ruby and Jonathan for coming second in this game!

It was a little bit tricky when we had to find the fractions fast. The top number tells us how many parts are selected or coloured in. The bottom number tells us how many parts there are altogther.
